Zum Spiel brauchen nicht viele Worte verloren zu werden; die Bayern schafften es nicht, ein Tor zu erzielen, und der FC versuchte dies gar nicht erst. Lediglich dem Stadionsprecher sei an dieser Stelle noch einmal ans Herz gelegt, sich künftig besser über den Namen des Gegners zu informieren. Nicht der FC Köln war zu Gast, sondern der 1.FC Köln. Das ist ein erheblicher Unterschied. So langsam könnte man den Namen des ärgsten Angstgegners wirklich gelernt haben.
Richtig interessant wurde es erst nach dem Spiel. Es stand noch der Besuch einer Soliparty zugunsten meines ehemaligen Mitbewohners H., der durch die richtige Geschäftsidee am falschen Ort gelinde gesagt in finanzielle Schieflage geraten ist, auf dem Programmzettel. So durfte sich, nach einer ausgedehnten Busreise in entvölkerte Außengebiete der Voralpenmetropole, an einem Subkulturgenuss gelabt werden, wie ich ihn der Hauptstadt der Bewegung schlichtweg nicht zugetraut hätte. Ebenso wie den geringen Stellenwert des FCB bei so manchem Mitarbeiter des örtlichen ÖPNV. Busfahrer: "Seid ihr Kölner? Habt ihr heute den Bayern zwei Punkte geklaut?" Antwort: "Die haben uns die Punkte abgenommen, wir haben noch nie im neuen Stadion verloren." Und schon war die Busfahrt umsonst. Der Feind meines Feindes ist eben mein Freund.
Als morgens die nebelverhangenen Domtürme am Firnament auszumachen waren, schien sich die sechsundzwanzigstündige Auswärtsfahrt rückblickend, trotz des aus Kölner Sicht eher mageren Ergebisses in der Arroganz-Arena, doch gelohnt zu haben, schließlich durfte ich dem kleinen Äffchen, welches im Rahmen einer Auktion von H.s persönlichen Besitztümern zwecks Schuldentilgung für den sensationellen Solibetrag von drei Euro den Besitzer wechselte, den ersten Blick auf seine neue Heimatstadt gewähren. Es klatschte darauf hin begeistert in seine kleinen Kürbishände. Womit es auch schon am Ende des Spektrums seiner Fähigkeiten angelangt war.
